About Mollie
Welcome! I am a painter, a student, and a teacher who loves to hear stories, foster artistic processes, express visually, and work with new or non-painters to create one of a kind, personalized works of art.
I grew up on the rolling hills of a prairie, which allowed me the space and time to explore, create, and imagine my way through childhood. While calling South Dakota home, I love adventuring through new places.
My home and explorations, people, and music are the inspiration for many original artworks. I have been a teacher at Washington High School since 2014.
I live in Sioux Falls with my husband, Chase, daughter, Isla and son, Kennedy. I graduated from The University of Sioux Falls with an undergrad in Art Education and a minor in vocal music and from The University of South Dakota with a master’s degree in Studio Art and ELL Education.
